Bill took great joy in helping others, whether fixing a tractor to get it back, working for a busy farmer at harvest or assisting a friend in need with a project, Bill was always up for the task and had a smile on his face. He enjoyed tinkering on small engines and cherished drives in the country checking out fieldwork happening and talking with farmers. Bill looked forward to the cold winters of Minnesota and the opportunity to try his luck on the frozen lakes of the area by drilling holes and dropping in a line in the hopes of catching the next big one. He treasured the many memories made with family and friends camping and hunting.
